The Des Plaines Park District offers a year-round aquatics program featuring American Red Cross swim lessons, adult aqua exercise classes and lifeguard training programs. We have three outdoor pools in Des Plaines, and the use of indoor pools through a cooperative agreement with the Rosemont Park District. Click here for current class and pool information.
During the summer pool season, starting in June, the Park District operates two neighborhood pools - Chippewa & Iroquois and the popular Mystic Waters Family Aquatic Center. With a wide variety of pool pass options, Des Plaines residents and swimmers from all around the area have virtually limitless aquatic adventure opportunities at the Park District!
