under the direction of Lawrence J. Carle, in concert at
the beautiful Prairie Lakes Theatre.
Tickets: Adult $5, Family $12, Senior/Student $3.

The Des Plaines Park District Community Concert Band is a
group of local and area music enthusiasts who enjoy playing
traditional and contemporary tunes on numerous occasions
throughout the year. The band's wide repertoire ranges from the
classics to the latest movie scores. From Labor Day to Memorial
Day, the band practices on Thursdays from 7:30-9:30pm at the
Good Shepherd Church on Howard and Lee Street in Des Plaines.
Lawrence J. Carle, a retired music educator from School District
62 and founding director, conducts. For more information, stop

Looking for an opportunity to pick up that high school or college
instrument again? The Community Concert Band is currently seeking
new members for all sections. The band has two French Horns
that can be used by prospective members at no charge.
