About Us

Nestled on nearly 40 acres of mature land, the Des Plaines Golf Center is owned and operated by the Des Plaines Park District. Located on River Road in Des Plaines, the Des Plaines Golf Center is a public facility open 364 days a year. Designed to be a private membership facility when it opened in 1997, the Des Plaines Golf Center opened to the public in 2000 when the Park District purchased the facility.

The Des Plaines Golf Center is one of three golf facilities operated by the Des Plaines Park District. Located just 4 miles southwest of the Golf Center on Howard Street is the Park District’s par-3 18-hole Lake Park Golf Course. Or visit Mountain View Mine, an 18-hole adventure golf course featuring a mining theme, located at Mountain View Adventure Center on Algonquin Road.
