The Des Plaines Park District offers a year-round aquatics program featuring our own Learn To Swim Program, parent/tot classes, adult swim lessons, adult exercise classes, and lifeguard training programs. We have three outdoor pools in Des Plaines, and the use of indoor pools through a cooperative agreement with the Rosemont Park District.

During the summer pool season, starting in June, the Park District operates two neighborhood pools - Chippewa & Iroquois and the popular Mystic Waters Family Aquatic Center. With a wide variety of pool pass options, Des Plaines residents and swimmers from all around the area have virtually limitless aquatic adventure opportunities at the Park District!
